1. When are bills mailed out?

Water and/or sewer bills are mailed the last working day of each month.  All bills are due on the 15th of the month.

2. Do we receive a late notice?

Yes, late notices are sent out on the 16th which includes a 10% penalty. Payments not received by the 25th will have $30 added and are subject to being turned off on the 26th.

3. Does the Utility Billing Department have a drop box?

Payments may be deposited in the outside drop box located on the west side of City Hall or the drop box located at the Utility Billing office door. If your payment is dropped in the box after 8:00 a.m. on the 26th it is considered late and late fee and service disconnect will apply.

4. What if the due date falls on a weekend?

If the 15th falls on a weekend, an extra day is given to pay the bill. However, payments due on the 25th must be paid before 8 a.m. of the next closest business day.

5. What if I can't pay my bill on time?

If additional time is needed to pay your bill, you must complete the "Hardship Request" and return to our office no later than noon on the 25th of the month.

6. I am a new customer, how can I get service started?

To start service, complete an "Application For Service", we will need a copy of your drivers license and payment of deposit and application fees.
