[ARCHIVED] TCEQ FINAL EVALUATION NOW AVAILABLE

The study was conducted in four quarters over the period of one year with several stations set-up in and around Midlothian to measure the levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and metals in the ambient air. The final evaluation concluded that all measured concentrations of VOCs and metals are not of a health concern. It was determined that the souces of VOCs are likely not the identified industry in Midlothian. The nearby industry does have an impact on the levels of metals detected in the air; however, those contributions are slight and all levels are well below those accepted and are not of a health concern. Please visit the TCEQ website at the link provided to view the entire final evaluation.
