A general and special election for Midlothian City Council has been called for May 6, 2023. The general election filing period for the positions of Mayor, Place 1, and Place 2 is closed and the drawing for ballot order will be conducted on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 9 a.m. The filing period for Place 5 is Jan. 25 through Mar. 6. at 5 p.m. The drawing for ballot order for Place 5 will be conducted on March 7, 2023, at 8:15 a.m. in the City Secretary's office.
