[ARCHIVED] Important Tips for Summer Beats Concertgoers

Summer Beats Concert  Treats News Flash

The first concert in the Summer Beats Series will be held tonight, Friday, June 24, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Community Park, 3601 S. 14th St. 

If you are planning to attend the free Double Ace concert, here are a few tips to help plan your evening.

  • Concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but you are welcome to come set up your chairs and blankets on the Amphitheater lawn early.
  • Yummy food will be available for purchase from Mr. Softee Ice Cream, Rosie's Texicue, and Blondie's Bakery.
  • There is a heat advisory till 7 p.m. Saturday, so plan accordingly.
  • Coolers are allowed.  
  • The north driveway into phase 2 of the park will close in the late afternoon.  All traffic will be routed through the middle driveway.
