The City of Midlothian and our partners continue to offer a full array of free, family-friendly events and activities this summer. Mark your calendars now!

The Midlothian Market - Organized by Midlothian Downtown Business Association, the outdoor market is open Saturdays through November 26 (some Saturdays excluded) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Park, 234 N. 8th Street. Find more information about The Midlothian Market

Mayor’s Back to School Bash, July 30, 4 to 10 p.m., MISD Multi-purpose Stadium parking lot.  Inflatables, games, free food and food for purchase, and local entertainment. Free and open to the public.

Movies in the Park - "Clifford the Big Red Dog," August 6, 7 p.m. (rainout date August 13), Hawkins Spring Park, 1498 FM 1387. Movies begin at dark, but prize drawings begin at 7 p.m. Presented by Methodist Midlothian Medical Center. Prizes provided by Higginbotham Brothers Ace Hardware and Chicken Salad Chick. Summer Beats Concert Series Finale! - Friday, August 19, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Featuring country recording artist and song-writer Amanda Kate Ferris. To be held at Midlothian Community Park, Art Pierard Memorial Amphitheater, 3601 S. 14th Street. Bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating. Food for purchase will be available.  Presenting sponsor for this event is Texas Health Hospital Mansfield.

National Night Out Kick-Off, Saturday, September 17, 5:30 to 8 p.m., Midlothian Community Park, 3601 S. 14th Street. Sponsored by Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, National Night Out is an annual community-police partnership.  Come out to learn how your neighborhood, church, or organization can participate in the national event that takes place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in Midlothian.
