Community Egg Hunt for kids 10 years old and younger is set for Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. Event will be at the Sports Complex softball fields, 1000 S. 14th Street. Spring CleanUp Day takes place on Saturday, April 9, 8 a.m. to Noon at the Public Works Service Center, 1050 N. US Hwy. 67. Open to Midlothian residents only (no businesses) and proof of residency is required. Find more information about CleanUp Day event.
The Midlothian Market opens April 16 and will be held each Saturday through November 26 (some Saturdays excluded). Wildflower Walks at Mockingbird Nature Park, April 16 and May 21, 9 a.m., 1361 Onward Road. Enjoy a guided ½-mile walk to learn about the wildflowers, native plants, and animal life of the park. These free events are presented by the Texas Master Naturalists, Indian Trail Chapter and are open to children and adults. In the event of rain, walks are cancelled. Midlothian Chamber’s Wine, Arts, and Craft Brew Festival, presented by the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce, to be held on Saturday, April 30, 2 to 8 p.m. on North 8th Street, in Downtown Midlothian. Ticket and vendor information.
Household Chemical Waste Drop-Off, Saturday, May 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Public Works Service Center, 1050 N. US Hwy. 67. Voucher required to participate; $20 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Household Chemical Waste Disposal.
