[ARCHIVED] Community Open House for Parks Master Plan CANCELLED

Community Meeting PostPoned gra[hic

The Community Open House planned for Feb. 23 at the Midlothian Conference Center has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather.  Watch for an announcement of the new date in the near future.

The purpose of the open house is to get input from the community about desired park and recreation spaces and facilities. The meeting is one of several efforts to gain community input regarding Midlothian ParkVision, a parks master planning effort. This is a come-and-go event that will include an interactive presentation at 6:30 p.m.  During the remainder of the evening, guests will be asked to provide feedback on development of new park facilities and programs.

More information is available at the Midlothian ParkVision Master Plan website.

For questions, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 972-775-7777.
