The Public Works Department in conjunction with our solid waste services provider offer two free, citywide Cleanup Day Events each year to our residents.
They are held from 8 a.m. - 12 noon the second Saturday in April and the first Saturday in November.
The events offer multiple services including:
- Bulk item disposal (furniture, appliances, limbs, brush, etc.)
- Paper shredding service (residential only)
- Off-rim tire disposal (car, light truck, semi-truck - No farm tractor, or heavy equipment tires)
- Refrigerant removal
- Electronics recycling. (tube-style, projection TVs recycled for $1 per square inch - cash only accepted/correct change required.)
NO CHEMICAL WASTE ALLOWED.
The City of Midlothian holds a Hazardous Waste Collection Event once a year.

Proof of Midlothian residency (driver license or utility bill) is required.
