Keep Midlothian Beautiful Committee
- A subcommittee of the Midlothian Park Board, Keep Midlothian Beautiful (KMB) promotes public interest and engagement in the general improvement of the physical environment of the city and supports programs for beautification, litter prevention, recycling and waste reduction in conjunction and in cooperation with the citizens, government, businesses, and industries within the city limits of Midlothian, Texas.

Community CleanUp Events
CleanUp Event Dates, Times, and Locations
Monday, September 11, 7 p.m., Mockingbird Nature Park, 1361 Onward Road
Watch for future dates.
Trash bags and equipment are provided. Volunteers should bring their own drinking water and gloves.
2023 CleanUp Event Results:
- Monday, July 17: 22 volunteers, 24 pounds of trash.
- Monday, September 11: 49 volunteers, 40 pounds of trash.
Business Award Details
What: Recognizes businesses within the city limits of Midlothian for creating and maintaining an aesthetically appealing appearance.
When: Contest will be held each year for the months of May through October.
How: Properties may be nominated by the business occupant, property owner, or other party by submitting a nomination form due the third week of the month. (Nomination form below.)
What: Winners will be selected by a group of Committee members. Winners will be notified by a letter (email or postal) and asked to set up a time the Committee may visit to make the award and photograph the winner at the business. Winners receive a certificate and a window cling for display.
Eligibility:
- Business properties only.
- Located within Midlothian City Limits.
- May be maintained by property owner, business occupant, or professionally.
- Not be a member of the Keep Midlothian Beautiful Committee or City of Midlothian Park Board.
- Has not won the award within the current-year judging period (May through October).

We Keep Midlothian Beautiful Business Award Winners
August 2023
Congratulations to the winners of We Keep Midlothian Beautiful Award for August 2023. The newly opened MidTowne Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center is located at 110 Dylan Way. The offices of Lundberg Law are at 501 N. 8th Street.

Judging Criteria
Committee members will visit each property nominated and judge based on the following criteria:
- Property is one of the most aesthetically appealing in the city.
- Buildings, fences, porches, and patios are in good condition (i.e., minimal deterioration, damage, or construction).
- Be free of litter, junk, and debris.
- Planters, shrubs, flower beds, and lawns are well maintained.
The decisions of the Keep Midlothian Beautiful Committe are final.
