Specialized units within the division are composed of individual officers who excel at certain duties and have received additional special training such as:
- Advanced Accident Investigators
- Field Training Officers
- School Resource Officer
- Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officers
- Traffic / Motorcycle Officers
- Community Services / Crime Prevention Officers
- PSO (Public Safety Officer) / Jailer
Other Services
Other services and duties performed include:
- Residential and business vacation checks
- Crime watch and other crime prevention programs
- Supervision of the jail
- Presence at community events
