The Park Board was established for the purpose of making recommendations to City Council concerning improvements and management in its respective area of interest.

The Board is composed of nine members serving two-year term.  City residency is not required for membership.  Appointments are made in January.

Current members include:  Mark Fletcher, R. Greg Durston, Gary Hensel, Shara Lattimore, George Branam, David Stanton, Chris Whitt, Jon Conley and Angela Stephens.

Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

The City Council's policy is to limit membership to one board/commission at a time in order to provide an opportunity for service and involvement to as many citizens as possible. Training is available to all new appointees.
