Midlothian Economic Development
Purpose
The focus of the Midlothian Economic Development Board is the promotion of existing business, enterprise expansion and retention, and new business attraction and development. 

Membership
The board is made up of nine members, five of which must reside inside the city limits.  All members serve two year terms.   Appointments are made in July.

Current members include:  Danny Rodgers, Tim Tobey, Joe Frizzell, Mike Houston, Kevin Blankenship, Glen Carlisle, Shawn Yarbrough and Cathy Altman.

Meetings
Meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Application
The City Council's policy is to limit membership to one board/commission at a time in order to provide an opportunity for service and involvement to as many citizens as possible. Training is available to all new appointees.
