Alarm permits are required on any home or business, within Midlothian city limits, that has an alarm system, regardless of the length of time that the system has been installed.

Alarm holders will be issued an official police seal with their permit number, which should be affixed to their home or business in a location visible to police personnel.

Permits are valid for three years and cost $20.00.
