Fake Package Delivery Notices

consumer-alert

The City has been made aware of an outside business sending package delivery notices with no business name or address information to residents asking that they call them immediately about an important delivery. When contacted, this business has indicated that they have concerns about the City’s water quality and that they will send someone over to test your water for free.  This correspondence is known to have happened with both City of Midlothian and Sardis-Lone Elm Water Supply Corporation customers. Please know that this testing is not being conducted on behalf of either Midlothian or Sardis and that the potable water being supplied to you is continually tested in accordance with both Federal and State drinking water standards.
