City Wide Fall Clean-Up Day Planned

The Fall Clean-Up Day is set for Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 8am-noon at the Public Works Service Center, 1050 N. Highway 67. This is your chance to dispose of bulk items, tires, appliances, electronics, and more. No Hazardous Waste at this event.

New Playground Equipment Coming to Margie Webb Park

Parks staff will begin dismantling the existing playground structure In Margie Webb Park next week and the installation of the new equipment will be completed over the next few months. Please be aware that the playground area will be closed to play!

Free Recycling Service

All City residents age 65 and over are eligible to receive free recycling service. If you are billed by the City, just stop by Utility Billing to sign up and if you are direct billed by Waste Connections, stop by their office at 1080 Eastgate Drive.

The Ellis County Commissioner's Court voted in favor of issuing a county burn ban in their meeting held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Effective Immediately, Ellis County is under a burn ban.

Midlothian Market

Monthly Pet Adoption Event

A Pet Adoption Event is held the 3rd Saturday each month at the Walmart garden center entrance. Stop by and visit with our wonderful shelter staff, volunteers, and pets. If you can't adopt, how about a cuddle or a scratch, our furry friends will love it!
