The percentage of obese adults has risen from 47% in 1976 to over 65% in 2009. The number of trips that adults take on foot, not surprisingly, fell over 40% in the same period. Walking is a simple way to exercise and WALK! MIDLOTHIAN is a new program that is intended to help Midlothian residents put on their walking shoes.
